WHY THE BIBLE AS OUR STANDARD ?
II TIMOTHY 3:16 :
ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for corrections, for instruction in righteousness.
II PETER 1:21 :
Who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hops are in God.
WHY BE BORN AGAIN (SAVED) ? ROMANS 3:23 :
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
JOHN 3:1-21 : 1) There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2) This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God: for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him" 3) Jesus answered and to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 4) Nicodemus said to Him, " How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?" 5) Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” 6) “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of Spirit is spirit.” 7) “Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.” 8) “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” 9) Nicodemus answered and said to Him, " How can these things be?" 10) Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things?” 11) “Most assuredly I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness.” 12) “If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?” 13) “No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the son of Man who is heaven.” 14) “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up.” 15) “That whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” 16) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” 17) “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.” 18) “He who believes in Him is not condemned: but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” 19) “And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” 20) “For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.” 21) “But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds my be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
LUKE 16:19-26 :
19) “There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day.” 20) “But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate.” 21) “desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.” 22) “So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried.” 23) “And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.” 24) “Then he cried and said, ' Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” 25) “But Abraham said 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things, but now he is comforted and you are tormented.” 26) “And besides all this, between us and you there is a gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.”
WHY SANCTIFICATION?
JOHN CHAPTER 17 :
1) Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said. “Father, the hours has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You.” 2) “As You have given Him authority over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.” 3) “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” 4) “I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.” 5) “And now, O Father, glorify Me together with yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.” 6) “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours. You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.” 7) “Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from you.” 8) “For I have given to them the words, which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.” 9) “I pray for them, I do no pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.” 10) “And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them.” 11) “Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You, Holy Father, Keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.” 12) “While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name, Those whom You gave Me I have kept, and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.” 13) “But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.” 14) “I have given them Your word and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.” 15) “I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.” 16) “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.” 17) “Sanctify them by Your truth, Your word is truth.” 18) “As You sent Me into the world I also have sent them into the world.” 19) “And for the sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.” 20) “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word.” 21) “That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.” 22) “And the glory which you gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:” 23) “I in them, and You and Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me”. 24) “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” 25) “O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me.” 26) “And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”
ROMANS 12:1-2 :
1) I beseech you therefore, brethren by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2) And do not be confirmed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
WHY WATER BAPTISM?
MATTHEW 28:18-20 :
18) And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” 19) “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” 20) “Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.”
ROMANS 6:4-6 :
4) Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5) For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection. 6) Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
WHY HOLY COMMUNION?
LUKE 22:19-20 :
19) And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 20) Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.”
1 CORINTHIANS 11:23-26 :
23) For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you; that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24) And when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take eat, this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25) In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” 26) For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
WHY GO TO CHURCH?
HEBREWS 10:24-25 :
24) And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works. 25) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching.
WHY THE HOLY GHOST BAPTISM?
JOEL 2:28-29 :
28) ”And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all Flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.” 29) “And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”
JOHN 14:26 :
“But the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to you remembrance all things that I said to you.”
JOHN 16:7-14 :
7) “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.” 8) “And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin and of righteousness, and of judgment;” 9) “Of sin, because they do not believe in Me;” 10) “Of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;” 11) “Of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.” 12) “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.” 13) “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever he hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” 14) “He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.”
WHY SPEAKING IN TONGUES?
MARK 16:17 :
“And these signs will follow those who believe; In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;”
1 CORINITHIANS 12:10 :
To another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
ACTS 1:4-8 :
4) And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which," He said “you have heard from Me;” 5) “For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” 6) Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, " Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" 7) And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.” 8) “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witness to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
ACTS 2:4 :
And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
WHY SPIRITUAL GIFTS?
CORINTHIANS 12:1-31 :
1) Now, concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant; 2) You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led. 3) Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. 4) There are diversities of gifts, but the same spirit. 5) There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6) And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7) But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all. 8) For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit. 9) To another faith be the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit. 10) To another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of Spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11) But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. 12) For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13) For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body - whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves of free - and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. 14) For in fact the body is not one member but many. 15) If the foot should say " Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body? 16) And if the ear should say " Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body? 17) If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? 18) But now God has set the member, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. 19) And if they were all one member, where would the body be? 20) But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. 21) And the eye cannot say to the hand, " I have no need of you"; nor again the head to the feet, " I have no need of you." 22) No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. 23) And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, 24) but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, 25) that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. 26) And if one member suffers all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored all the members rejoice with it. 27) Now you are the of Christ, and members individually. 28) And God has appointed these in the church; first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, than gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. 29) Are the apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? 30) Do all have gift of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 31) But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.
EPHESIANS 4:1-16 :
1) I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2) With all lowliness and gentleness, with long suffering, bearing with one another in love, 3) Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the body of peace. 4) There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5) One Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6) One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7) But to each one of us grace was given, according to the measure of Christ's gift. 8) Therefore He says; " When we ascended on high, He Led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men." 9) Now this, " He ascended " - what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10) He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things. 11) And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12) For the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13) Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14) That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15) But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head - Christ - 16) From whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does it share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

WHY THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH?
1 THESSALONIANS 4:14-17 :
14) For if we believe that Jesus dies and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 15) For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16) For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout with the voice of an archangel and the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17) Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
1 JOHN 3:2 :
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
JUDE 1:14-15 :
