Vision for the Future

 

In 2007 CFC is Celebrating fifty years of Ministry to the Community. Our first service

was held on Sunday November 1957. Although CFC has been blessed with several different

pastors which to the best of our knowledge today were Pastor Wiley, Pastor Hammond and

Pastor Alleygood however, Pastor Holland Mock and his precious wife Myrtle were the

pastors for forty years. They were dedicated to the call in their lives to preach the Gospel of

Jesus Christ without compromising the true and

living Word of God, which is Jesus Christ, His Death, Burial and Resurrection as being the

only Begotten Son of God and the only way to Salvation. Today the message still carries the

same good news with Pastor Roger Sparks, who was Pastor Holland Mock's assistant since

October 2000. Upon Pastor Mock going home to be with the Lord in June 2004, Pastor Roger

has kept the vision going forth as God had planned with Pastor Holland Mock. CFC is not only to be a lighthouse in the community in which we live; but, also to reach out from our area with the outreach ministries which have become available through radio, TV and the

Internet web site.Ever pray that we can reach those who perhaps left the church for one

reason or another and have them re-dedicate their lives to Jesus. Also pray that we can reach those who are lost, not knowing Jesus as their

personal Lord and Savior. You can be a part of the ministry at CFC by praying for us and if
